Welcome to the Orlando Birth Collective! Our mission is to serve women throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Finding out you are expecting can be one of the most transformational and exciting moments of your life. There is a lot to learn, and a lot to prepare for! OBC offers expectant families doula and midwife provider matchmaking services, as well as childbirth education courses, a full service birth concierge, and our virtual nursery. Our goal is to tailor your experience, and support you with ‘a village’. We can’t wait to work with you!

FIND YOUR PROVIDER

Your doula and midwife should be a great fit for you as an individual and as a family, and finding the right person can often take hours of research and interviews. Our service takes the legwork out of matching with your perfect provider. We will send you 3 matches based on your preferences for you to review and contact, saving you time and energy in an already stressful time.

CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION

Our exclusive education course, Empowered Birth + Postpartum, is a comprehensive guide of late pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The goal of the EBP is to educate and empower women and partners to be in control of their birth, and to enter the postpartum period with the right tools and resources.

BIRTH CONCIERGE

OBC’s Birth Concierge is designed to support women and families throughout their entire pregnancy and postpartum journey. We provide comprehensive services, including the design of your birth team, help with home preparation, postpartum support through the fourth trimester, as well as access to a network of support professionals like lactation and sleep consultants.

THE MOTHERY RESOURCES

The Mothery Resources is our virtual nursery. We discuss products we love, feeding, health and development, and mama support. TMR is also a community space, where we will interview experts, and offer free services and resources to mamas and families. TMR is open to anyone in the birth community!

Allison

Allison is a DONA certified birth doula whose passion is supporting women during childbirth and educating them to help them achieve their desired birth. Allison is a nurse with 15 years experience in mother/baby health and pediatrics. She has experience as a lactation counselor as well as a midwife assistant. She is a wife and mama to Mikayla and Maxwell, who she delivered naturally at the hospital. Most recently Allison carried and delivered a surrogate baby via c-section.

Laura

Laura is a DONA trained birth doula who focuses on empowering women through education and support. Laura is passionate about educating women on all things birth and postpartum so that they are in control of their journey. Prior to becoming a doula, Laura worked as a designer and marketer in the technology space. She is a wife and mother to two beautiful boys, one born in a hospital via c-section, and one a home VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section).
