Behiye, affectionately known as “B”,  is a Florida Licensed Midwife and the owner of Mama Mia Midwifery. Her interest in midwifery began with the pregnancy and birth of her first daughter in 2006. Living in Washington State at the time, the decision to see a midwife instead of an OB were the first of thousands of steps that would be taken to pursue a career as a midwife. The experience with her midwives for the birth of her last daughter in 2009, sealed the deal.

“My ultimate goal is to provide women and their families with in depth, compassionate, and most importantly, up to date, evidence based care throughout their childbearing years. I hope to serve my clients as wholly as my midwives served me – ensuring every mother feels safe, respected, and cared for as your little ones are welcomed into the world.”

Behiye currently lives in Lake Nona, Florida with her daughters, Asiya and Meram, alongside their three dwarf hamsters.
